Boating, swimming, kayaking on our peaceful creeks and bay inlets, bird watching, garden tours, antiquing, golf, tennis, lighthouse tours, sailing, exploring our charming towns and historic sites, fall harvest festivals, hunting, fishing, viewing art galleries, participating in local regattas and many more entertaining and relaxing experiences await you here. From our home, which is a short walk from the express bus from Manhattan, you can bike to Peconic Bay, where beautiful white sand beaches await you, or take a kayak over to nearby Richmond Creek. Get a taste of our local wines with a personal guided tour of the area or simply stroll down the road to the famous Raphael, Lenz and Pindar tasting rooms and vineyards.
The quaint towns of Greenport, Southold, Cutchogue and Peconic, the local farms filled with fresh produce, the "catch of the day" at our famous fisheries, all await you around the corner from the Harvest Inn. And if you are a golfer, you will find excellent world-class courses around, like Island's End, Cherry Creek, and the Long Island National designed by Robert Trent Jones.
But it is the attention to detail and the sincere care of our innkeepers, Darolyn and Christopher Augusta, that will draw travelers back again and again for peace, relaxation and a pampered environment.
